i have to disagree with this comment the rs4 rally is an awesome car and blows me away every time i take it out now my df03 on the other hand not so much. just feals like a cheap toy. ive got two rs4 rallys now and they are bullet proof and with the overtray protector they come with nothing gets in there did some snow rallying with mine and there wasnt a drop of water in there after a good couple hours.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my old rally rs4 (it's been sitting for about 10 years) but am having a tough time deciding whether to go rally or on-road, and the main reason i'm shying away from rally is because I no longer have the inner shell and undertray, and really don't want to run it as a rally car without it. Anyone have any idea where I can find one? I keep checking ebay but haven't seen one pop up yet.

They are nearly impossible to find alone, and very hard to find even with a roller. I'm going to make my own. I've got a spare roof from a Wraith that is going to be sacrificed in the name of experimentation! That and an old Outerwears cover my Slash 4x4. I'm sure there is some way to make that combo work. =)

Yeah, I was thinking of just getting some scrap lexan and seeing what I could come up with. Let me know if you come up with something that works.

After accumulating a bunch of parts, rollers, etc, decided I have enough to build two cars. This is pretty much my MO anyway, I don't have one of anything.

So, these are the final paint schemes. One for me and one for my son, similar "team" looking, but still using our color schemes. Should turn out pretty sweet. Hopefully start building tonight.

Mine, will be #71

His, will be #56

Finishing up the body today, final color (white), got the first light coat done, opened a fresh can of white, start spraying and it's silver! Friggin can was mismarked! Tried to wipe it off, but it's still noticeable. Grr.
