Is it the same size as a wr8 because looking at the specs it sure ain't 1/10th scale

If its based off the slash, it has to be bigger. I'd think it's more in the 1/9 range

| Re: Traxxas 1/10 Rally If its bigger then a WR8 (which is 8th scale) and bigger then a DRX (which is true 7th scale) then it is actually more 6th scale. Someone ran the numbers earlier and that is what they came up with.

Traxxas:
I had just seen the DRX listed as 1/9 by Kyosho, so I was going by the similarities.

Been searching all day...I really hope someone makes a replacement body quick. I bought an EXO last month, sold it to buy another Slash 4x4 and stumbled arcoss this a few days ago....Traxxas must put Kryptonite in there molds cause I can't break their stuff to save my life. Thanks to Turtle I'm all over this Rally flavor of the month...I WANT.

There is 100% more change parts get made for this than any other Rally. Thanks to the ability of Traxxas to build demand as well as solid products that keep people buying.

Has anyone seen or heard of a parts list to convert a Slash 4x4 into rally? I realize the chassis and motor mounts are probably different. I'm more concerned with the upgrades that I have. Things like knuckles, suspension arms, driveshafts, shock towers, etc. I suppose I could do some research and check part #s, etc, but figured I 'd throw it out there to see if anyone else has done the work already. |

Looks pretty simple to do and the DRX has several bodies to choose from. Slash 4x4 Rally Conversion

Need more likes and comments. This was their email response to me. "This is a pretty new item, It usually takes some time until after the release before we will start making body's for it. Basically there needs to be a large enough demand for it before we put time and money into the development of a body for it. Thank you, Aaron Pro-Line Racin" Last edited by KauseKaos; 10-17-2012 at 12:11 PM. |

I'm thinking even if they make a body, it's still going to be a little out of porportion and not real scale. That goes for Traxxas too, if they bring out other options, licensed or not iit's still not going to be quite right. IMO, just sayin' not hatin'. |
