Nate's Great Rally Track Build

You could say that I'm a little ADHD. I also have far too much yard to mow and a desire to have my own R/C track, so I decided to create rally track, er shade garden, under a couple of big oak trees I have in the back yard. Since the grass won't grow with so much shade, and Texas summers are unbearable when you're standing in the sun, it's the perfect location.

So, some baby pics of the track (garden path).







Paco is is very excited about having a track in the back yard. Can't you see it on his face?

That hackberry is dead (frickin' ants), so I am taking it down along with the other hackberry (back and to the right). They are just the worst kind of tree to have in the yard.



Less sunny pic makes it easier to see the course.



Outlined the track with sand, not entirely sure why, but it seemed like the thing to do at the time. Makes it easier to see, though.





The track (garden paths) will continue further back near the fence, but that is for Phase II.



That's all for now. More to come once it stops raining for a little while. Right now South Texas is enduring a MUCH wetter May than we've had for about 20 years.
