I think they get it, you guys can probably stop whining now... I get that it's an issue, but damn.
I was doing updates on the fb group (which is where Samu got the pics and such), so you could have joined that.
Seriously, it just ended, people are still traveling home (not me, I'm home having a beer ). Give them a day or two to get everything organized and posted. There were guys doing pro photo and video coverage, and I'm sure they have a lot to sort through before posting up.
If you don't like it, volunteer to have your happy hiney out in that heat for a few days to do a better job of it next year

Seriously? We have had local comps posting live scores (in the heat). You would THINK a "World" level event would be able to have one dude post some scores up. Even at the end of the night would have been nice. (Or three days later)

Yes seriously. you obviously could have done such a better job, why weren't you out there doing it?
They didn't have "one dude" posting, they had one chick- me. I did live coverage of the finals course with final scores on the fb group. Thankfully Samu cross posted some since my phone was dying and I wanted to continue doing what i could. If you didn't feel like heading over there to get updates then tough cookies. "Whoever they may be" is completely inappropriate, unfounded, and childish. We have results, pretty much everyone knows who they are.


You would think that grown ass men could have some semblance of patience and not whine like children when there's a slight delay....


This was a great event with some issues- as they all are. Competitors who were impacted by the issues are the only ones with any right to complain (and I haven't heard a single one do so). The others with a right to say anything are the ones that were here and tried to help (especially judges, damn guys you are rock stars), but again, haven't heard any complaining (there was lots of constructive attempts at problem solving, because adults attended this competition and that's how they handle problems). If it was a month later with no scores or pictures, yeah, sure, say something, maybe ask if there's a way you can help speed up the process. I am so damn sick of people whining about problems and not even proposing a solution, let alone trying to actually help solve the problem; just pointing out problems and saying how much better they could have done it. It's what is bringing our sport down and after 8 years of watching our sport change and dwindle thanks to shit like that, I am so fawking done ignoring it and not calling people out on it.

Sporty scores look good on RCORVA. I like the format. Looking forward to the final scores in all classes. Props to every single driver/administrator that made the effort to attend and thus endured what appeared to the armchair competitor to be some serious competition and HEAT! Y'all are bad ass.

We should have official scoring up today, although we are still cleaning up, packing up, returning the rv, and flying back home today. So there is a chance it might be tomorrow. After all, I guess me and the crew are coming off four days of 5 hour sleep and daybreak to sunset work. Hard working weekend, but wow was it epic!


Gotta give Fishmaxx, Jason, and Badger props for previously hosted worlds and Nationals. On the ground it is no small feat to simply run the event, let alone the pre and post effort needed. It's easy to critique from the comfort of an arm chair!
