Default Shifting servo problem

Hey guys I have been building my tf2 for a few months and I finally got it out for a test run the other day. Everything was good until my shift servo quite working. It's a brand new Traxxas 2075 and iam just using a rtr associated radio. It sounded like it was trying to move all the time and I think I fried it. I called Traxxas and they sent me a new one for nothing and I don't want it to happen again. Do I need to get a radio with EPA adjustments or is there anay way to adjust the servo throw on the truck? Thanks and sorry for the long story

Yes. Without EPA adjustments, the servo will stay at full lock and could damage it. Happened to me the first time.

I used a servo saver on it. It lets the spring tension do the shifting and saves the strain on the servo If things aren't lined up when you shift.

You really need to limit the EPA...

Yeh can't remember my end points but am sure they're both around 30-40% to give you some idea of how much your servo is being over pushed and damaged.
