how does RC4WD get away with putting something removeable over an obvious Jeep grille? But then again, China gets away with it on RC's and 1:1s.

Guess Chrysler is too busy going after Mahindra to care about RC4WD.

My guess is that they’re selling a product that doesn’t obviously show it’s a Jeep product with a distinctive design feature. Removing the grille cover makes it a “consumer modification” that just happens to expose a 7 slot grille.

The 1/18th scale Blackjock seemed to be taken off of the market pretty quickly even though it had 8 slots. Yet it still represented a Jeep like grille that was very obvious.

“ consumer modification “ I like that lol . I was actually going to cut it out and slot it with a dremel now I don’t have to make that “ modification “ lol

Here’s some pre-paint customizing shots of the black rock..., already lowered the body as much as I could. Might try lowering the rear a little more yet.... inner fenders will also help close in the wheel wells.
It’s a nice scale size..., in my quick review video I compare it to a scale 4Runner, hilux, & blazer. Imo it doesn’t look to out of scale..., just sits a bit high; especially in stock configuration.
