the only option for square channel is to cut out a relief section to bend the tube. It wont bend like round tubing. I'm looking at either steel c channel or aluminum, and using spacers and metric screws/nuts to connect the halves. With as little material as it would take I figured steel wouldn't be to heavy. IDK, I'm constantly looking at other materials to see if they'd work. I've thought about cutting board too. I've used it on my foff chassis, and it's easy to cut and work with. I'm going to find something to use within the next day or so.

will do Doc. I'll have something worked up in a day or two. I've got a bracket fabbed to mount my front bumper. I figure I'll stick it on tonight just so I can have it done. But I'm going to do a new chassis for it. I cant stand having this frame peiced together the way it is now. It doesn't bother me when the body is in place because I cant see the frame. I've got to incorperate my magnetic body mounts too. Here is a rough drawing of my game plan. Don't laugh...if you do, laugh to yourself.

that's pretty much what i have in mind, I want to run teh upper rails longer though, but that is because 1 I run a set 9.6v packs over the front axel for simulated engine weight and 2, i may eventually go with a scale engine for looks.

I got the bumper mounted last night. It's a temporary addition to the frame I currently have. It's sturdy and seems like it'll hold up fine to some rock rash. Pics to come.

Here ya go man. It's a HPI Jeep Rubicon. I made the soft top, but I bought mine from Tower Hobbies. If you register they'll send you a deal for free shipping over $25, or a discount on one. Here's a link though.

then i stand corrected. I mounted up the bumper. Flipped the electronics tray to gain a little better cog. I also flipped the rear servo horn because it was kind of snagging on stuff. I got some video of the Jeep the other day, I posted it below.
