I just though as a representative of the sorrca committee and the hobby maybe going around being a dick isn't the way to go.

2. I understand scale and performance, And that most vehicles in the 1:1 world don't have leafs all the way around.
But I also know that a stock or built tf2, bruiser, sawback, trail stomper, or ford hilift wouldn't compare to a stock or built scx10.
Maybe a division of class1 to separate leafs from links.

Both could run the same course. They just wouldn't compete against each other.

My apologies if you feel this is a "noob" style statement. But it's definitely a issue that is being brought up at alot of comps. And not just by the guys using leaf springs.

I wouldn't call it noob, but I'll be the jerk - it still is not thought out......
No one was a dick to you, Tim was honnest. This is a question that reading would have shown it has been asked multiple different ways and answered each time.
Plus this is the Internet - reguardless of his wording there is no face to face. So every adult has to be just that and exspect to get answers they don't like nor agree with.

Secondly your dead wrong. A tf2 can hold its own against a scx10. If your not sure how the rules, esp in Class1 help this then I would hope you will go back and spend a few hours rereading them. It is real quick and easy to see how the rules level the playing field from multiple different levels.

If that does not fit your fancy, then before you come back to call me or anyone else a dick for how we wprd things over these fancy typing boxes, I'd like to remind you 1 simple fact that will never change.....

Toy cars. Being driven by grown Men, for bowling throphies. Just go drive and smile.

Now I would like to release back to your regularly scheduled antics.

my wrecker, and the "bed" thing. It has no bed floor, so it is not drop bed, no flatbed, no tubebed.
Only cab points or full custom hard body points?

all steel, and heavy.

Isn't that bed made of tube? looks like it - so tube bed and custom cab points.

I don't see why that wouldn't get full hardbody and custom hardbody points.

Looks good to me!

The guideline is there to keep people from putting a 3" wide bumper on a 7" wide body in Class 1.

So I have a question as far as the slight trimming of the flares/adding flares to cover your tires in C1... Say I have a Jeep Jk and a chop off the flares and make a different style flair would that be legal?

Yeah, as long as you're not chopping things up too much. Just keep it looking like a Jeep and you're fine.

Well it was made into a jk8 and the flares are a replica of a direct bolt on for the 1:1 jk.

I'm trying to clear up some things locally. I don't see it as a penalty, but figured I'd see where you guys stand on this. Ok, you have two winches, each one hooked up to each axle so you can limit/extend the travel of said axle. I've had some people complain that it should be a penalty. I personally don't see that it should be. Thanks in advance.

As long as you're not hooking the winch to the axle each time you use it, there is no penalty. The +3 winching penalty is for hooking your winch line up to something, if it's already hooked to your axles before you start.....no penalty. Just tell them not to be mad at you for being smarter than them ;)
