NWSC we were calling time stop when there wasn't a rig to winch off of. Once the rig was placed where you want it, time was started and you pulled winch line. You can't touch your rig in any way during the time stop.
We also had to call it a few times to move ourselves because of slick rock

that's kind of what i was hoping to have happen for this event.

the safety thing is a must, but i think it should be limited. i have seen people abuse it. (looking over the terrain rather than just re-positioning their bodies).

anyway, just wanted to clarify the issue before the event so i can plan ahead. i'm good either way.

We're planning by the end of June, hopefully sooner.

Yes... no qualifying events, etc. You just have to wait for the event slots to go on sale (soon), purchase the classes you want to compete in and your in.

Question about King of the Peaks.

In order to run in the 1.9 class will a rig have to meet C1 or C2 rules? For example would a Wraith with cut-n-shut 1.9's be considered a 1.9 for this event?

I think to keep things fair it would have to meet Class 2 rules, but it's not my event

Who needs rules? First one to the finish wins!

Then guys come out with stupidly over sized motors and we get to watch everything go WRONG!

I can understand that. But you don't get to tell me what to do this time.

Doesn't really matter anyway, just asking out of curiosity really. I'm gonna build what I want and run it in whatever class it ends up in.

Yes it needs to be a legal class 1 or 2 rig to run in 1.9, I'll talk to the crew if it different I'll let you know.

sorry to intrude on this thread, but do ladies compete in this event? I am a male but my wife has her own scx10 but is not that into it unless there are other ladies around. I have never attended an event like this and would like to but im not sure how I will convince the wife haha. we live on the west coast of Canada so its a fair drive for us but im sure she would like the drive and cam sites along the way.

thanks for your time
