Yeah, it seems to work well to me! |
This thing is awesome! I love the cantilever chassis. It's all business. I just enjoyed reading the entire thread. Makes me want to go rebuild my own super. Thanks! |
Thanks! There are some videos in this thread: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/videos/247591-crawling-galveston-island.html Good luck with your build! |
Rig looks great man, love the white theme. Kinda crazy thinking that some of Heavy's ideas are still around so many years later. P.S., you know what the red plastic on those push rods for the cantilevers came from? Crazy Straws. :ror: |

Thanks for the compliment! |
I've been driving this thing quite a bit lately....it's a LOT of fun! http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...0/P1030582.jpg http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...0/P1030585.jpg |
Also, I recently installed a set of the lower diff gears....a GREAT improvement! No more pins to worry about! |
sexy!!!!! love the white , great work |
Thanks! I was just driving this thing this morning and am LOVING the new gears! |
whered you get them links , they look like white nylon , like the RPM stuff.. |
They are made from 1/2" delrin rod. A local guy made them for me. If you need some made, let me know and I can get you in touch with him. |
What did you do with the old links? |
I still have them. I kept breaking rod ends left and right with those. Hell, I've even broken a few Jato Longs with the current setup... |
Revo's hold up better on a super than the Jato longs, I break them all the time too. I am thinking on using Gmade rod ends since they are pretty much unbreakable. Wanna part with the old links? |
Nope, sorry. The old links use the old style traxxas rod ends....the hexagonal ones that use 3mm threads... |
Great pics ! BUT I think I spot a poser shot :flipoff: |
I'm pretty sure those were all drivin into and out of. This rig owns. "thumbsup" |
Thanks guys. IIRC, none of those are posed...I was just driving and took pictures that I thought looked cool |
