Yeah....those things took me a while to make. It's a good thing that the CA that I used was fast drying (sets up in 25 sec).

I hope they perform well in our terrain down here...

Well, I got some wiring done tonight after work:

BTW, there will be no work done on this thing for at least a few days. Tomorrow I have free tickets to go see the UT/Stanford Memphis/WV games...should be fun!

On a side note...I learned a valuable lesson this evening...do NOT solder wearing sandals and while sitting on the ground. Because of these Tevas, I have a nice line of blisters on my toe.

Well, I ordered 8 Elite 4500's from CBP and made up a pack. I didnt have too many mounting options but got them all to fit on the front axle...not as low as I wanted, but they are there. Here are some pics:

Let me know what you think.

Also, I was using the balance method to find the CG and it is at the very front of the skid...not sure how high up.

Yep, I hope to get some time to program the DX6 this weekend! (after I install a new garage door opener for the one that crapped out this morning)

hey Jeremy, you'll love the dx6, its not hard to program and once you use it you'll wanna use it for all your rigs.....lol , I'm going to use mine when i start a 2.2 its got so many possiblities when it comes to programing. Im not sure if its legal but you can set up a esc for each motor and run dig on your 2.2.

Well, I got it programmed quite some time ago. I just received the final version of my Mayhem beadlocks and they are awesome!

Your truck looks great JeremyH . How does it perform? What width are you know with the new bead locks?

I bought a set of those exact size tires from 86jeep at the last DFW comp. I already have an un-narrowed set of Mo-Lands on The Grunt that dezfan had made. The un-narrowed set perform well in climbing but not in side hilling. I have yet to test the new narrowed set.

Well, I havent had much time to test this out yet....just on my little backyard pile of rocks (in the pics). I hope to get some time in next weekend since I have a long weekend. I didnt measure the width before I put on the tires, but I did switch to the TTR CVD's as well. This width is probably 11" I'll do that sometime this weekend.

There are several ways to get narrower. Especially since you have the small c Hot Racing tubes. What wheel hex are you using?

I am using 14mm in the front and 12mm in the rear on The Grunt (my 2.2 clod). I documented in my build how I got my TTR CVD's narrowed in the front and I am using JP Customs aluminum knuckles in the front. I am as narrow as I can get though, since I have the Integy tubes.

86jeep uses the same knuckles you are and he cut his knuckles in half and heavily modified his TTR CVD's and his track width is very narrow. He is running only one bearing in the knuckles because he narrowed it up so much. It works well for him and his TCS stick clod is very capable and narrow.

Yeah, I was looking at the TTR outers....they might need to get cut down!

Right now I am using the TTR 14mm hexes.

Did you ever crawl those Narrowed Mashers? I think I own them now-or at least a set like them and I am wondering how they performed?

I run those mashers on my TLT sometimes. I think they are too small for clod axles.

Well, after running this setup for a while, I decided that I really didnt like the way it performed....so I decided to go a different route:

The Pimp Cane couldn't be easier to setup (I think it took me 15 minutes...and most of that time was removing all of the old stuff). It flexes nicely and should get better the more it's driven. I just need to mount up the electronics and it'll be running again!
