| DTP's S-Dub ver2.1 (new pics on page 4)
Here it is! Not quite done yet but very close. Still gotta glue on rock rings, mount elec., make drive shafts, & tune the susp. I had this Power Wagon for my Maxx crawler sitting around, so as little form of flattery, I put it on this. Too bad it had to lose mostly all it's fenders, cuz it looked good w/them. I decided to go w/ a 60/40 set-up, w/the skid slightly slanted forward. Here it is, enjoy |

You beat me to it!!! I am building almost the same damn thing!! I have the body, the TLT kit, sliders , ESC, link material, wheels and tires. I hope to get benders chassis next week along with the trans and motor. Then assemble it. I guess I have to paint mine a different color . Looks good!!

Thanks all, this really is a sweet chassis, all credit should go to Bender. hansom- I got just the chassis from him. Made the links & servo/link mount myself, although he does sell them. jedrattle- I had this body for my maxx that I harly use now that I have my Stick, so I just threw it on. Xtreme RC- rims are HPI Spikes, yes AL knuckles from GPM. 95MoYj- Hope it kicks a$$ too. As for selling the servo mount, I don't want to sound like I don't want to help, but I also don't want to ruffle any feathers cuz I don't have a blue star at the moment. I have a few ideas that I think PPL might like, but nothing will happen untill after January. Maybe, I can help you make it yourself. I'll try to draw it & send you a pic or something. Man that would be sweet. No prob on the whole not wanting to ruffle any feathers I understand. I have this huge rock outside that i think i can get up if i only had the battery mounted on the front axle. Great build buy the way.

Aw man, this thing is FAWKIN awsome. I origanally thought that it was too narrow @ 9 1/2" but it really helped having a narrower track. Chrome Dome was 10 1/2"-11" w/Ofna rims & really stable, but I think this is just as stable & fit narrow passages & side hills pretty well. To say I was surprised is an understatement.

Nice work DTP, I always like the bling myself too, especially when it is as functional as yours!! Those rocks your on look like chopped up peices of cement... Am I correct? Looks familiar to what I have close to home. PS: I might have to try that battery mount, looks nice, props to 4rnrRick |

Yeah, Rick. I don't know why either, it works like a champ! Nice, small 8-cell pack, low & on the front axle like that. No axle twist at all. NLUV- Thanks. It's actually coral rocks. |
