here are the Traxxas tires I smoothed out and put dirt hawg treads on. I know they are far from perfect but I think they will work pretty well. Maybe the next ones will look better. |

Might be too late now. I was told a 24hour WD40 bath makes Jugg tires super soft, and they are supposed to be a hard tire as well. Just unload a can into a plastic baggy (sandwhich-ish size). But now that you glued the treads on, I don't know how it will affect them.

actually they are pretty soft now I took the angle grinder with some 50 grit disks and ground some of the material as well as the nobs off and made a big difference. Now I'm stuck for another week cause I only bought a pair of dirt hawg and I don't have enough treads to do the other 2 tires... |

Y'know, if you post this over at one18th people are going to be crawling over themselves to get info on the tires and your chassis... |

I've got a few pics of it up on one18th and Grafix the owner wanted to buy a bunch of chassis plates but I don't want to go into production with it. I'd like to try doing a better job on the tires but they are starting to get spendy so I only got one try. I've got to go to the HS again and get another pair of dirt hawgs so I can finish the other two tires. Oh and I got my gear reduction today so look out for a new chassis |

Thats what is on mine :? here is my post It was actually pretty easy to mount those wheels on there... All I did was take the hex drive nuts off the MG and ground them down until they snuggly fit into the mini-t wheels where the bearing goes. I then CA'd the newly shaped drive nuts into the wheel and have had no problems with it. The wheels are all fronts. The tires are a stretch to fit onto the wheels but they work. I'm getting some bigger tires that will fit on those wheels soon and a gear reduction unit like Black magic has... ANd a new chassis. |

Im thinking about trying to get my little brother a Mini Giant for Christmas just for rock crawling. From the looks of the vids. The stock tires are kinda crappy. How do they work stock on the rocks? Did u just glue the diff to lock it? Any simple upgrades for more flex? Thanks!
