is 47.86:1 ratio good for a 2 cell lipo and a 55t motor? im new to the whole tranny crawlers. i have a super that is pretty sweet in my opinion, but i dont know alot about these. Also, is a lipo ok for a crawler as long as it is protected?

Might be alittle high geared,as you can see above im alot lower than you are.But im runin7 sub c's.I have just enough wheel speed to do what i need to do when im crawlin. For trail ridin and just bashin its lacking the wheel speed i need on some lose dirt hill climbs. But i mostly rock crawl with it.

Also, i think that moving the top of the shocks out helps with torque twist. thats how i have them on my scale chassis, and i hardly have any torque twist at all. But, I do have some clearance issues with my shocks at full artic. and full steering.

one thing i know helps if you havnt figured this out .When youre suspension is on full droop youre top links should be level. This suspension link geometry helps t.t.

Hey rockmike and tanis. Well I widened my chassis plates out to 77mm so I could lay down the tranny for the lowest cg possible. that in combination with the link setup you recommended has really helped my TT. I can still adjust the shock angle to get rid of what little is left but the biggest help was the relocation of the 4 links. Get ready for some serious fun and competition next time we meet....lol. Thanks again
