Mnster, nothing obvious

According to the drawing the original hole must have been around 5.5mm which sounds about right because I had to remove very little material to get the bearing to press in

X2...great idea and with the 3x6mm flanged bearings that Fishmaxx used, this sounds great.

I thought I would post a pic with the flanged bearing. I found them online for $1 each. I also shaved my Fat Rock C's and aluminum knuckles for maximum steering with my CVD's.

Just posting so I can find this easier when I get my new C's. Was waiting for stainless, but it looks like I'll be getting the aluminum clocked C's instead.

They have to be pretty short or they will pass through the knuckle and contact the shaft.

If noone else chimes in, I can measure mine when I get home this evening.

I used this mod on the old style C's from some other company. Before the Fat Rocks. Don't remember who made those. I used flange bearings in mine. I had them come up from the knuckle side. Had to trim the knuckle tip a little, but this prevents the knuckle from moving up or down even if a screw backs out a little.

It is a great mod!

Ok I want to do this to my C's but I can't see me paying $8 for 2 bearings + shipping cause my LHS dosn't have any. Any ideas on where to get bearings for cheap?

I buy all my bearings from AVID http://www.avidrc.com/ . They are a RC site , that offers bearings and brake pads for nirto RCs . They ship fast and at a fair price & with every order you get a free sticker sheet (everyone loves stickers) .
