Okay, The chassis arrived today. I have been working like crazy since. Here are some pics! Locked the diff, RCP CVD kit both front and rear. Added the Fat rock Axle C's with Run2 aluminum knuckles. Here is the rear that I dremeled a little. Took a break and painted the chassis. Metalic Blue Finished up the rear end! Then my Camera died, and I didn't bother stopping the assembly to get some batteries for it. Here are some pics of the chassis pretty much done. Steering shot. Had to dremel the Knuckles and Axle C's. Delrin Skid plate that I made. Crawlmaster and recevier mounted in a temp R2 tranny. Delrin plate for the Mamba Max. Rear end dremel work. Front end Dremel work. Front end dremel work. Now I just need to order my punisher shafts. Tell me what you think. Thanks. |

Thanks for the props guys. I think I am going to use the JR 8711. 400 oz should do it! No winch. I'll have my third channel tied up with the dig. Yes it does. The cut outs on the tranny plate and the front and rear links plates were done on a EDM. They are cut really nice. There seems to be a few mounting positions on the tranny plate. I wish they would have allowed for the clear cover that RC4WD sends with the R2 though. But no biggy! I am going to take some tonight. After I posted the pics, I wired everything up and ran it inside for alittle while. Droop is definatly different. Glad I added the delrin skid though. It is definatly going to help. I tried a section in my house last night that only my dig set-up truck will go over, and this hustler cleared it with little issue. Yeh, a little. But I can dial that out if I need to. It really doesn't matter that much though. Quote:

Very Nice job. The clear cover will fit if you cut the bottom off and just use the one screw. I put a piece of clear tape over mine instead of the cover. |

Did you do those tires yourself or send them out. They look great!! Curious to see how well they work.
