Have you checked out Eeep's 14er thread, I'd mount the servo like his, you just gotta make a simple mounting plate.

I think maxx mashers are the norm, at least from what I have read. I had some 6" gmade tires on mine, and they looked a bit big.

maxx mashers are common, ill be running maxx badlands. ill probably end up with a set of each.

well... i gave up on the link mounts... i moved them to the back of the axle housing like everyone else does. it also allowed me to adjust my links all the way back in and come in at EXACTLY 14"! woo hooo! and now all of a sudden my servo mounting problem is gone, all i need to do is cut up an aluminum plate and drill a couple holes in it and it'll be done.

My Badland XL's seem to like the terrain here in Tennessee but didn't bite as well as I hoped at Moab. There were some areas that had a thin layer of loose sand floating around out there. It was like trying to walk on marbles :lol:

i noticed the same with my losi tires on my 2.2 after a lot of rigs have run over a certain line the sand starts seperating. i wish i had payed more attention, i didnt even get to check out your rig or talk to you in person raptor... like i said ill probably end up with one set of each. the masher is a well proven tire, im definetly wanting a set of maxx mashers.

Well i got my servo mount done last night. I used a thundertech clod servo mount for it. I filed some metal off of it and drilled a couple new holes in it and it mounted right up... Ill get pics later when i get home. It should be pretty bulletproof.

With narrowed, standard Maxx offset, Maxximizers and Badlands; mine is about 13" wide I believe.

I can see where the Badlands prolly wouldn't be the tire to have in Moab. Mine work great here in CO but I don't think the rubber is the best for the degrading slickrock at Potatoe Salad hill.

i got my servo mounted!! like i said i had to relocate the links mounts, it actually helped because i was able to shorten up my revo pushrod links by threading them all the way in. "thumbsup""thumbsup"

i should have upper links made tonight...
