Even a 55t should haul ass with a 3s behind it. Sounds sweet and like you said, throttle endpoints can be adjusted on the receiver, or throttle curves and punch can both be configured on the BRXL. I can't see how you can't have an awesome setup with a BRXL, they are amazing.

there is no wrong setup with a BRXL, I can go from a weak ass 20c 2s all the way to a 60c 6s in my showtime buggy and it handles it all. Looks like im gonna be stalking the mailman and doing a lot of building over the holidays so it should be good. I got the Pajero rolling around earlier with a 55t venom motor hs625 servo and a Spektrum sr300 rx sitting on 1.9 steelies with dirt grabber tires for now. Traded my Maxxis Trepador SCX takeoffs for a sweet new set of 1.55 steelies and mud thrashers and I should have 2 sets of 1.9 x-locks tomorrow in the mail.

Got my GRU's today from rc4wd already made room for the longer motor length but now I ran into another issue. Do you guys re-use the plastic motor mount plate or do something else since non of the holes on the GRU line up with the holes on the motor plate

Erm, I'm still using the stock plastic motor mount on mine. Everything lined up right for me and I used the 16t holes. Have you got any pics?

Heres some pics of the upgrades so far. Camera date stamps are way off since they like to reset or go random with every battery change. |
