The next cco1 chassis is being built as we speak,
Another body I have , just need to find a grill and windows for it. Probably going to do leafs and live axles if I can find some as narrow as cc's
The Avalanche has a wheelbase of 10 3/4" and the leafsprung chassis is 9 3/4". Going to extend it a full inch, and see how that looks. The body is pretty beat, so I am not worried to much about paint and what not, will be my guest rig. Its getting a skid like my landyand probably a similar bumper.

Mockup of rear axle placement, the back is low, will be corrected later.

Going to use existing holes to mount new spring mounts and extend the rear

Its sitting on its own now, need to lift the rear still. Lift blocks or a shackle lengthening, and make some body mounts...

Proposed driveshaft...
Might have to flip it for a carrier bearing

it looks like you have room on the upper shackle mount for a lower hole, that may help your leveling situation

Yeah that is what I was thinking too, coupled with a spacer for the front mount I will be good. Need about 3/8" lift, that will level out the chassis or give it a little rake.

Definatly, and it shouldnt change your wheelbase anything noticeable either

Got the rear lifted, lift block for the front mount and drilled a new hole for the shackle in the rear.

And the mandatory flex shot, I know not alot, but what do you expect out of a lifted Avalanche?

ive found that flex isn't everything, while admittedly, yes, no flex is bad, and will yeild unsavorable results, there is such thing as too much flex.... looks good man, wheres the group photo

Thanks man, mud gets everywhere! 1 run and I had to pull the axles and clean/lube the bearings, horrid. Lol
I put a front bumper on the Avalanche...

Savage front, perfect width height ect imo.
Going to do something similar to the LR for body mounts, except going to include some step bars on the side. Got to fix the bed(was cut out) and fill the holes in the hood.. I suck at body work so we will see how it goes... Lol...

Here is my debate...
The 1.55 mudthrashers are the right height butthe rims I have are 1.9, I dont mind streaching them over the rims.
And then there are these...
1/4" taller than the highlift tires...
Let me know what you think.

i think the second ones would look better tread wise, but you are probably right, the height may hurt you...though leafs tend not to flex much..

Yeah I think you are right. They will look like 37"s instead of 35"s. A little big for a tow rig, but I see guys pull Jeeps with Toyota Highlux's on here all the time, lol...

I filled the hole in the bed with sheet metal...

Next is a tonneau cover for the bed.

Put my new pinion in today along with a novak 55t motor.
Been working on my 1:1 lately, not much 1/10 scale time :(
