Default CC-01 Rear suspension conundrum..

I need some help and advice on how to fix my CC-01 Landfreeder's rear suspension. I bought a shelf queen landfreeder. It was built but never ran so the rear suspension woes were never discovered and/or sorted out.

Its my first CC-01. I fixed the binding stroke extension links first and that helped a great deal. Then I realized the upper links on the four-link suspension were about 5-6mm too short on each side, and that really limited the flex. I made new links and that helps a lot too.

The problem I can't really engineer a solution for easily is the incorrect angle of the rear shocks. The misalignment of the mounts and the stroke extention prevents a smooth action of the shock. I can't find a real good solution. Moving the upper mount to the outsize causes the shock to hit the tire. Moving the lower mount causes the same bend the other way. I've put softer springs on and removed the oil. I think its just the bad angle?

Ideas?

EPIC! since I didn't build the thing I ASSumed they were on the right way. I hadn't even considered that. I'm going to the garage to do it right now.

And try mounting the shocks on the inside of the mounts too. You'll have a more active suspension that way as well. Replacing the odd mounts at the bottom with some Traxxas rod ends will remove any binding as well.
