Width of front axle outside tire to outside tire 223mm. but it needs to be adjusted as you can see from the photos below, actualy it wil be less than 220mm
and rear is 2mm more from each side.

Great build! Two questions:

-I have a set of the front portals heading my way for an upcoming CC-01 build, but I haven't been able to find the rears. Where'd you get yours from?
-What did you end up changing/ modifying on the rear portals/ rear axle in order for the two to mate nicely?

Appreciate your guidance...

-The 3racing one are sold out everywhere. Probably be while before they back in stock.

-the rear axle needs to be modded. It been cover in thread and few others.

..aaaand I'm trying to find those details. Lots of threads with broken images/ information that don't do me much good, or mention of "axle modding," but no particulars. If you know of one that's a good go-to for such a conversion, I'd be much obliged. :-)

Also was alleged that this particular install didn't require much/any axle work? Which is why I'm curious.

There info on how the OP did the rear shafts for the portals on the first page. Start reading. Also do a search for chino63 "power to the portals" thread in CC01 forum, he covers how to do it. There not going to be a lot pics, mostly reading.

To alleged hearing of "not much work involved" never did it. There ton of work to rear axle.

I not trying to steer you away from this mod, but if you having trouble or can't do the work, you will have to find someone to do the work for you and that can get costly.Maybe portals are not for you

Allow me to pose this to STRAT (OP) -- any chance you can show a little more detail as to what you did the rear shafts? I've been able to figure out most of the external work needed to the Rear Axle (turns out I had read the thread someone claimed I didn't), but would love to see more of what you did for the shafts since your toolset is closer to what I have at hand than what Chino used for his.

only mod that was done to the rear shafts is I cut them very close to the pinhole of the pin for the hexes. See photo 15 from the top of page 1. I believe it shown clearly in the photos.
