As you can see in the video, my rear suspension is quasi inexistant... way to hard... So a friend of mine give me 2 scale shocks internal springs 70mm... They are soft and way better than the stocks i had... I only put 1-2 drop of oil to keep them lubricated and thats it... Problem solve... Almost same flex but waaaaay smoother... |

The same friend also gave me the junfac skid plate... I have it on my other cc01, it really help protecting underneath and help to ''slide'' better (imo) over rocks but also lower the ground clearance... So basically i ''open'' the 2 side of the skid and flatted the rear... This allowed the skid to be as close as possible to the chassis... Now i only have to dremel a bit the front of the skid to smooth it out... |

Somethings not quite right with the skid. I believe it's supposed to go under the steering/front control arm skid...so that it sits flush with everything...not at an angle. Plus, with the way you have it mounted it can get hung up on things.

CC01 Chassis Skid Plate [J20022] : JunFac.com Because of the trans under the chassis, i don't think you can fit the skid under the steering/front control arm skid... But still, maybe i can work something | |

The older one I remember goes all the way to the diff, Might be the same slow1500 was thinking about, I like how you done this as well as I like the angle of it, would go nice with some bent lower links. |

Did a little of work on the mog... Grind the inside of the skid to fit the trans... I took off as many material as i can... Smooth the front of the skid so everything fit nicely... Last edited by noname0383; 10-16-2015 at 11:00 PM. |

I wish they made those in black. I mean I know I can paint them but I bet it would not stick well.

During my last ride, i found out a problem with my steering... A screws at the bottom kind ofget loose so since i had to take the steering, skid etc apart, why no modified the skid a bit more... Now i'm gonna put some sticky(?) weight on the skid... Those little rig runs better when trey're a bit heavy... |

Great build! Love the way your Mog works. Mind if I ask to learn/ see more about how you converted your 'box' to a flat bed? Considering building my CC01 as a Case MB4/94 which, to be accurate, needs to have a flat deck instead of a box. -Evan |

No prob... Will try to take some more shots of "under the cab"... But basically, I took 2 pieces of hard plastic, held together with "L" metal pieces and used Shoegoo to glue the flatbed to the cab... Not sure it's clear lol... Pics will be better... ;) Envoyé de mon LG3 avec Tapatalk |

As u can see, i kept the lower part of the rear cab to hold the flatbed The ''L'' metal pieces that hold the 2 parts of the flatbed (at the front of the flatbed)... everything is glued with Shoegoo... And a bit of mods to the chassis to be able to fit the flatbed lower than normal... If u have more questions or need precision, plz ask... will do my best to anwser clearly... |

Hate to be a bother, but I just signed up to ask. What were the steps you took to make the flatbed? I have a clear lexan mog right now and really wanted to do a flatbed. Was it as simple as cutting the top off and only leaving the small overhang for the tail lights? I would love to know what you did to the chassis to accommodate. Thanks! |
