Default Need CC-01 advice

I local guy has an RTR CC-01 Unimog for sale. I'm interested in the rig but know nothing about Tamiya vehicles. It has the Tamiya ESC and Motor and a Traxxas servo.
What should I be looking for? Will it need alot of upgrades to perform decently?
The price seems to good to be true.

Stock Steering is a little sloppy and it does not turn very sharp. It is a good scale unit stock, will do some light crawling. I'd call the whole thing adequate. There are plenty of hop-ups for it, and you can add them incrementally and keep improving it. It will never be a world class crawler, but it can do OK. I like the scale look, and it is a great trail unit. First upgrade should be ball bearings all around. That's on any unit that doesn't have them out of the box.
Steering is a good second upgrade, and changing the rear suspension links helps. After that, there's a lot you can do or not. I did a lot of upgrades because I wanted to....A good part of the fun for me is in the build, and upgrades are a fun part of the build.

I have a Unimog and it has become my favorite. You can really do quite a bit with it.
