My 500 pullers are holding up just fine! Keep in mind I don't drive this rig like I did my berg. I use a lot more control and finesse with the Losi. Speed is insane and low end is great My temp have gotten up there a few times driving like a mad man but they stay in check when I drive it like I'm supposed to.

Remember, a course is only 5min or less! I did buy some 10T pullers to try out as well but I've been happy with the 500's that I haven't changed them.....

It is not new for me, I did a how to in the tools forum back in 2007 to try a spark some interest but never saw anything on RCC. It got nicknamed the shoe because it looked like Kobe's new CF looking basketball shoes.

Composite Chassis

Excellent Mike this is a interesting project. I hope someone gets some video footage on this rig in competition at St. George next month.

Yes finally got to run it a few minutes ago, still need to finalize it with lock nuts and stuff but everything is good.

Wheel speed with these motors is 490rpm.

Here are some pics of the battery and radio tray.

Good lord, that is bad ass. It's not vacuum formed either, right? I don't see any bubbles.

Chassis and skid are hand laid, the battery box was vacuum bagged due to all the sharp corners.

Yes it's fast, 350 is a good fast wheel speed, at 490 I have to be careful I don't hit anything.

I like that alot. I would like one for mine, but I moved the rear shocks out about a 1/2" at the top & abuot 3/8" out on the axle. So it wouldn't work on mine. That is pretty cool thoe.

Default Run Time and Heat

Well what is the run time and are there heat issues with the motors. Do you think the 22 turns would work and two FXR's??? LMK
