Hey, I wouldn't get pissed at you. You pay your money and you take your chances.

No answers for you, just been running around the house trying to get used the new radio.
Tomorrow I go to the rocks then I can give some input. I got 2 22 turn "select" motors ready but they are twice the weight.

Where is your weight coming from Mike? My rig is just under 5lbs RTR. I thought you would be somewhere around a tad over 4lbs....

My body/chassis is equal in weight to the stock body and chassis. So my electronics must be heavier than yours.

Got in some run time on rocks aside from a few adjustments on the gears it went ok. I decided to try some different motors. I hand wound 2 550 motors with 22 turns.
Wheel speed is 440rpm with these and lots more torque. The extra weight on each axle is better too.
I have 1 more set of 540 motors to test but I think these are the ones.

Thanks, I like it!

The rear motor seems to do more work than the front so I tore it down just to see how my 550 wind is holding up. Looks like it's just fine.

Nice work on the CF body . That looks like it took a ton of work. Very cool rig.

The rig is still running and is a good solid setup. My only gripe is trying to keep a good gear mesh with the MOA gears. Noisy gears are amplified with a carbon body.

I got something new to try.

Using a 28t idler gear from the Associated stealth transmission I fitted the MOA with a little quieter gears and a little lower gear ratio. And to hold the gear to the shaft a nice little slipper. It is very smooth and quiet well see if it holds up.

If it holds up to the power you should make at least 100 for the other MOA drivers. Nice job. Wish I could do that

Lower ratio would be nice.. Id bet you could get that gear in steel or aluminum from somewhere..
