Honestly I have panels painted that fit flush against the inside of the frame, which also looks badass, but I wasn't sure if that is comp legal. Many rigs in the 1.1 realm have frames/cages around the outside of it's panels.

| I think its a little from the photo and a little from the tires bending from the leather surface I placed the crawler on. I checked it out and it seems pretty even. Good eyes though... I will keep and eye on that. |

| If you go by the progression of the thread it seems that you did the alt upgrade after the outboard upgrade. The alt upgrade pics don't have the rocksmith kit installed.

| Ya it took a long time to get the Rocksmith Kit, because he was moving his shop. I installed the outboard kit right after the ALt went on.

Looks like you might wanna figure out some sort of servo and esc protection, that chassis top doesn't look provide any..If you roll and are on your lid, your gonna be beating the esc and the servo up..

But seriously I think the biggest contributing factor for me is the type of terrain out here. When we comp the courses are usually over boulders and we do not have long steep climbs in which a mistake would results in a long, high fall. Now the ESC on the other hand is different. It is exposed right now IMO. However, the angle or line from the top of the rear tires to the back end of the roll cage, does provide some protection. For example if I took the crawler and picked the front wheels up and continued to push it up over backwards and it rolled (like if you flipped backward going up something too steep) when it rolls over it does not hit the ESC. Now if a smaller rock or ledge were to fit in between the rear tires that would hit the ESC and be bad. It would't take much to bash that up. I'll figure something out. All in all I'm looking to be minimal with the tuber, because that's what I prefer. This is the same reason why so many people run platic tops, because they just don't prefer tuber. If I were to go comp at a place where higher falls would be applicable, throwing on my lexan top literally takes probably 3 min to do...super easy, but like I said I'm into the tubers. If anyone has ESC protection ideas let me know.

| I'll get to work on that.I had it on my to do list for the Losi.I'll just bump it up the priority list.. That's good though that the chassis geometry keeps you off the esc and servo for the most part..Not that I'm on my lid a lot I just hate replacing high dollar electronics.. |

| Thanks for clearin that up....I might have to get one of those speedo guards..If they don't bend easy..Looks like it might if it's aluminum..Wouldn't be good to bend it down into your fan on the esc..Might be pretty strong though since it's not that tall..I wonder if a Goat 3s with fan will fit in there?
