Hey I am pretty new to crawling and I was looking at your pics of the electronics and noticed 2 on-off switches. What is the second one for? Also what gearing are you using on the lcc. Thanks.

| Good question man. The lower switch is for the ESC and the top mounted 2nd switch is connected to the BEC, which powers the servos to steering and the dig. This is how the Goat 3s comes stock.

LOL. Was just going to make one of these for myself. After comping this weekend I discovered some protection is needed!

I haven't decided where I'm going to mount my ESC yet, but that DMG mount should be great. I was actually thinking of making something out of Al flat stock...just have a bottom plate that bolts to the axle like stock, then a couple stand-offs with a top piece for protection...we'll see. Ya... I can't believe how light the ALT chassis is on it's own. This protector should be next to nothing in weight and do a good job. I'll test it's durability but it should hold up fine.

I decided that I would just use the RX tray...went to solder my wires onto the motor and thought I should check the room with the tuber on. Good thing I did because the ESC is too high and hits the cage! I wonder if I can spread the bars of the cage so the ESC can fit on the rear tray? If it was just a little wider I think it can fit, but don't want to tweak the whole cage. |

DMG should just include an ESC guard with the ALT chassis and up the price a little. | |

| Update... Well here is the DMG speed control protector. I drilled the holes and mounted it up today. At this point I think this rig is bomb proof with the exception of the front servo, which I've never had a problem with, but I know this concerns some people. Anyways what do you guys think. DMG saves the day again. Thanks Jerry. |

What's the going price for the rear cage? I really like the looks of this chassis, but no the wiring is a bit of a pain. I think I have it all good, then when I try to fit the cage on, something doesn't fit and I start over again! I guess that's the price to pay for the small package. |

I'll probably just run mine and see how beat up the Mamba gets. I think I'm going to strip the blue paint off the doors and either go black or match it to my scaler which is red... |

I was going to do a write up similar to this to help anyone who wanted to build an LCC but I think this one should be condensed and stickied.
