I looked all over last night for a long time and never found the answer.

I don't have a protractor. Or anything to measure with. 10 more degrees seems drastic.

Best I can measure, if you pinon is horizontal it would be 10* of caster.

You got it! I looked everywhere but in the complete description of the truck. Dur.

Alright, moving on. Yeah, ten more degrees is quite a step up. Losi boys, you try 15 degrees too?

I've messed around and like more than 20 degrees . I run delrin links from Ralphy at Pro-Creations on the front and rear lower, he also makes a rear upper to even out for the stretch. My front is the stock link that looks really short compared to the others. With this and the 20 degree casters it has to be pushing 27-32oz I mean degrees.

What does that do to your pinion angle?

Haha. Yeah I knew that. Thanks rob

I mean, does lowering your pinion angle affect anything else?

I haven't noticed anything weird from it. The pinion does not hit the rocks so I stayed with it. I did run the 20's with the longer front upper but went back to the stock length for my driving style.

Most of my tuning is for carnage and rough ledges so the extra negative caster helps a ton.

I drilled a second row of holes behind the factory upper link holes on the chassis to get more caster, I think I'll leave it when I get the 20 degree C's just to see how much it helps.

That's weak in the ounce department, yet strong in the degree department.

That's got to take away from steering while digging on flat-ish ground no?

If you grab a handfull of throttle the rig will whip around waaay better then before. The tire won't fold over as easy so the traction is awesome.

Will the new 20deg C's push the steering link into the horn? Have you had to make any steering link mods?

Well, mine arrived today and I got them installed and can tell you that I had to make no modifications to my mostly stock steering (except for the lunsford links). Here are a few pics:

That is a great question. Won't know till I have a set. I see maybe a shim or two possibly being needed. Hard to tell by the pics.
