Default My 2013 Losi Sporty

Got to give the JENS mod a thumbs up. Even with a 16t pinion (which I was thinking was too large) I had way more speed and low end than anyone else at the comp today with only a 17.5 and 3s. And there were some high zoot, top of the line stuff being run. I also got in some binds that made people cringe, powered though like a champ.

It ran great, I didn't on the other hand.

Hi JENS,

good luck at the Nordics

Nice to see a Parma on your crawler, too

Can you please take a pic of your skidplate of the Suckerpunch?

Regards,
Jeffrey

Interested to hear your take on that motor. With the tranny mod I am thinking or trying out a brushed motor since our season is over.

I went from a Tekin brushless to a 25T Axle Buster. I think your going to like it. Particularly it's smooth, barely creeping downhill ability. Plus excellent pop when needed. Only downside is I think it's a bit heavy.

Well,-back from Nordics i Finland Really nice location, people and courses

The Losi drove very good,-but the driver did not
First two courses went well with a -30 and a -29 score (Ten gates and two -5 bonus-gates per course)
Course four a not so bad -19 ,-but course three a hit and miss -3 score....

Managed to get to the final,-but messed up and ended ninth...,-a bit disappointet,-but stupid driving and not going for bonus-gates (which were -10 in the finals) is not the way to do it Only my self to blame !

But it was a very nice trip to Finland with great company from Norway, meeting a lot of skilled european drivers and just having a great time

Yes it is heavy,-but if it is as good as I think,-it will be worth the extra weight
Thinking about using the Holmes BR Mini,-hoping it will handle the current....

I'm using the BR Mini AND 4S. For maybe a year (ish) now. Be sure to turn off the dragbrake and Holmes Hold. Check status on software. It doesn't always ship with latest. You update and do all your programing with a Castle Link. And remember it has no useful BEC. I lash mine down on an open cantilevered tongue between the front links to get maximum cooling. No tape, sleeving or shrink wrap/tubing for me.

That really surprises me about the weight. Is that just motor vs motor, or is that overall weight (with extra wires and larger sensored ESC for brushless)?

Great job at Nordics.

The Axle Buster is heavier than the ROC,-motor vs. motor.
