Is this mainly a scaler event or would shafty crawlers do ok there also ? I only run 1300 3s lipos so i dont have a huge amount of run time.

^^^ A comp rig would do fine at the event. Its kind of like a STR event. Run what ya brung.

I know its a run what ya bring event, but hopefully its like the southern rock racing series and its a fastest to the top wins the bounty or maybe a first to the top then a fastest to the top. Im getting my ax10 ready and using a lot of ideas from your build to set mine up for this kind of offroading. Hope you don't mind.

Man I hope my rig will be ready. Here it is less then a month away now and I still can't seem to get all the parts to finish my dang transmission. I don't even have a battery mount made yet. Im in trouble...

The race is going to be a run what ya brung and a long course. Like a King of the Hammers race. This is going to be a land rush start like motocross so be on your A Game and get ready for some carnage

As for the bounty climbs, they will be just that, Bounty climbs. An unmade obsticle and if you think you have what it takes bring it.

Mine is going under the knife.... Full on southern buggy build in 24hr to take place this saturday, So you got plenty of time.



I think there is 1 local guy coming with a LNC. He doesnt worry about anything he just runs it. I think you'll be okay, I'll have my axles and lcc trans in the swap meet as well.
