I was pretty excited to see these tires come out, but at $25 a pair, I think I'll pass for now

$24.99 per pack of 2 tires/no foam/1 Decal sheet = MSRP direct from us. As we set up dealers, I'm sure the price will fluctuate dealer by dealer. But we want to make sure people can get them now and not have to wait for us to set up dealers.

Basically...it's a few dollars more to buy them direct from us immediately...they weren't cheap to develop and hopefully you find that they are worth the price. If you don't...well...we want to know so we can improve our product offerings. Our ears are open and we listen to what you have to say.

You can buy them direct from us by Submitting an Order Request Form on our website www.pitbulltires.com or by calling us at 800.645-2006. When you use the Buy Now button on our website it asks you to fill out your Bill To and Ship To information and how many packets of Rock Beast 2.2s you wish to order. There are 2 tires per packet.

We do not collect Payment information at the time. When you click Buy Now after filling out the form, we receive an email with your submitted request and then we figure our Freight Costs to you before calling you with the Total.

You can decide then and there whether or not you wish to place the order...and if you do...then we collect your payment information over the phone and process your order.

Plus...it gives us the opportunity to talk to you, our customer...and that's always a good thing.

Hope that's helpful

I can't wait for RPP or TCS to pick up on these.

I'll be first in line if you guys enter the 1.9 world

Super AND 1.9 tires should be next.

For 1.9, i think 4.25" by 1.5". Actually, come to think of it, if you made a 1.55 tire with those dimensions, I could put em on 1.9 rims, and get the profile I like.

If they produced a 4" super tire, I would buy a set of 37x13.50 Rockers for my CJ5.

They mounted fairly easily...not the absolute easiest tires I've ever mounted, but by no means the hardest. It didn't take a ridicuously long time, but would be a bit easier to mount if the bead diameter was maybe 1 to 2 mm smaller.

I'm curious to try them. They look really wide!

Here is one beside my Rovers, mounted on my VP DH's (I used VP 1" SLW's for the rear):

4 sets??? I only use 3 pair of 2.2 tires when making Super tires.

My X-Locks and my Super Rovers are working really well right now on the Super, so I'll wait until they release their own Super tire...or until I can find a set of these at a discounted price.

I'm going to try to stop looking at these and trying to picture how they'll work until I actually get a chance to run them.

My initial thought is that they're very wide and have rather large side lugs. this may be an advantage if you can use the side lugs to catch when trying to climb, but may also be a disadvantage if they catch a loose rock or crevice and drag you in.

I currently have them mounted on VP Pro Comp DH's for the front and VP SLW V4's for the rear w/ Nova's 2 stage foams.

I'll post up again once I have a chance to run them.
