Also curious about those beadlocks. How are they working out? Is that an aluminum beadlock ring? And are the threads holding ok in the plastic? And when can I buy a set from you?

So when are you gonna have some of these tires in stock and on your website? Also are you planning on making a rover version of that tire as well?

They look great as usual. Good job Eddie.

Now get that super finished so we all can see some pics on the rocks, and read a good review of this tire.

Yes, aluminum beadlock ring, threads holding just fine.. Not something I want to produce as a whole but like I just mentioned, I'll do a how to thread. If you can norrow a set of rims, you can make these work..

I may produce the rings though to make it easier..

Ok, that's enough of jacking Eddie's tire thread..

Its only semi-jacked if I say that I'll buy those tires if I can get some of those wheels!

So its a co-thread with you two vendors.

Limited slip

I fubar'd one during the narrowing phase so I just used the band saw to hack the stiffeners loose from the backside and it became the bead lock test rim..

I did this set for a customer last weekend and wanted to share. They are made using standard 40 series Moab sidewalls #1117, not the Moab XL #1119 sidewalls. The sidewalls are slightly thicker, but if you remove the side lugs they are perfect. The tire compound I prefer to use for sidewalls is the Pro-Line M2 compound which these are. The foams are Crawler Innovations 7.75"T x 2.25"W Super Nova foams. I narrowed the width of the firm inner foams to 1 7/8. They are mounted on BWD 115mm Super Bead locks.

Nice work Eddie! How wide are the beadlocks? I've been meaning to send my BWDs to you to have them cut down and lightened.
