Question Tire/Wheel Choices Help!!

Got my TF2 as a roller all wired up now just paint and decals...

Looking for a backup set of 1.9's besides the stock 1.55's

Here's what I referenced from:

Here are my wheel/tire choices....help me decide please! Based on scale looks and performance. This rig will never be in any TTC comp or anything besides trail runs.

1. CAC 2.0 Soft 8's only the pic w/ Mickey T's Baja TTC

2. 1.9 Pro10's (favorite)...I'll just go to the hardware store to change the black nuts to match the silver. (Tires here either the Mickey T's Baja TTC or Dirt Grabbers).

3. Of course the popular 1.9 T-Runners....(probably will be on Dirt Grabbers)

I know the Dirt Grabber performs just like a typical BFG A/T KO...good for sand , loose dirt, pavement, and only scale looks. But damn it sure is a nice looking tire. I've run that thing to death on my CC-01 just to leave tire marks on sandy rocks lol.

I have the pro10's. Tires mount to them with absolutely no trouble at all. They seem to hold the bead really quite well. I can't give you a whole lot more info seeing as I haven't run them yet. I did run into a problem mounting them on my SCX10 though. The hub is RC4WD's pin hub which seems like a good idea except they are pretty narrow so the nut on your axle shaft bottoms out on the threads before it hits the tire. This leaves your tire VERY wobbly. I threw a washer in there but the hole in the center as well seems to have a pretty large tolerance so they may wobble even with the washer when I you them. The only solution may be to buy RC4WD's replacement hex hubs. (I don't like the idea of having to fix an expensive and what should be quality product though)

I agree totally...the bright pro10's should set off the retro stripes and the red I plan on using on my TF2...

Can't decide on the tire choice though...

Militants would look a tad overkill on those little yota axles lol. But I do love them though if I ever build a scale deuce and half...one of these days lol
