Will the PB foams work in these? Have a new set of the foams and don't realy want to wait on other foams to get here.

They Will Not Be Enough For the new RB II's...The Dos Piezas by them self will not fill the tires properly..you would either need Tuning rings or new CI Foams..either way you gotta Wait..CI Shipped to me in Like 2 days..so not a bad wait at all...

These are the best foams you can get, IMO:

6.0 Double Deuce Pair (2)

I run the soft front and med rear in my Wraith. And the med front and firm in the rear of my KOH rig. Love them.

What do you think about a TTC rig, trying to stay light. Probably med/firm?

My Iroks on my wraith I run the same as above ^^^ except med front and rear and works realy well for me. I am just going to transfer the same foams over to the pitbulls when I get them. I have weighed my wraith and its kinda heavy but not as much as you would think at 8lbs 6oz!!!

IMO the 6.0 dd is a must if you run a Irok, Mickey Thompson Claw or these new Pitbulls. The bigger closed cell inner makes a big difference in tire stability!!!

I would really appreciate some additional information on getting the correct wheel widths and foam dimensions that should be used with these tires. Looking at the CI website I see the double duce 6.0 foams, but you mentioned that you removed to outer ring. The outer tuning rings are also listed on the website, but they are .25" thick so I'm not sure how to get to the 5.75" that you noted. These foam also come in narrow(.7-1") and wide(1.125-1.35") inner foam widths. I will be purchasing rims to use with these and would like a recommendation on the preferred rim size. I'm thinking a rim from Vanquish, but I don't know if I should get the .7 or 1" width.

I'm new to this area of RC and your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No Worries,,,Im Running Mine on a 1.25 wide Wheel With the 1.25-1.35 inner 6.0 foams..Its a 3 piece foam, the foam with all 3 pieces stands at 6.0 which is way to much for these,,Depending on wheel width would determine your correct foam choice,,War Pig is running his on a 1" wide wheel with the .7 to 1.0 width Foam and Hes Loving His Set Up..The Tire Works Great On Both Platforms...I Deffinately Wouldnt go any Narrower than 1.0 for the Rims..way to much Tire for that Narrow of a Rim In My Opinion any more ??s Dont hesitate to ask...
