probably, but i'm not too scientific about it. i usually put more in the fronts than the rears.

On their website it says the wheels come with 17mm hexes but they include 14mm adapters with them as well. Did your wheels come with these adapters?

they did, but they are 17mm hexes that look like 12mm TLT style hexes. you know, a hex with a space for a cross pin. so for a clod with stock axles or CVD's, they will not work. i'm working on a solution!

Cool to see someone else using airsoft BB's! I use either .25's or .30's (they're what I shoot, so I have many bags around) in my 2.2 truck. They seem to work pretty well. I also added 2 oz of stick on wheel weights to the inside of the rim, so about 6-7 oz total additional weights. I have yet to try them in my super though...can't wait to hear your impressions once you get the tires.

Guys, This is true ^^^^^

Axials site, as well as the packaging says a 14mm adapter is included. But like Greg said it is a cross pin type adapter and will not work on a clod or TXT.

I think I may have found a 12mm to 17mm adapter that is a stock part for twin force that will work.

Adaptors on the Kyosho Twin Force convert 14mm hexes to 17mm hexes.

What kind of offset do these wheels have compared to something like a proline commando or a maximizer wheel?

I believe the adapters for the Twin/Mad Force are 19mm. I know they go from a 14mm to ????. I'm running the factory 14mm hexes with my Revo wheels right now. It's been a long time since I fooled with the adapters. I'm not even sure where mine are or I'd go measure one real quick. If I can find one,I'll measure one. Seems like I remember them fitting awefully nicely in a 19mm wrench, but I've slept since then so it's untellin

john from RCP crawlers measured a set of adapters for me that go from 12mm to 17mm. they are made by kyosho, but i have no idea what kit they came from. i'll have them tomorrow and that will be the final proof.

Cool,I hope they work great for ya. It'd be nice to know exactly what they came off of,for the guys that need them anyway. I know the Twin/Mad are 14mm to something. Could they be from one of Kyosho's buggies or something?

I thought they were 17mm. They walls on the adapters aren't that thick.

Nice Spam

The adapters that were sent to Greg are Kyosho P/N MA058 they are the stock twin force adapters. Once he gets them and makes sure they work we will get a bunch of them to sell with the axial wheels.

Well it seems the Kyosho adapter is 14mm - 17mm so another adapter from 12mm-14mm would have to be used with the kyosho for use on the clod or TXT. So, you would first need a clod to maxx adapter then on top of that the Twin Force adapter.

bummer! the kyosho adapter is 14mm to 19mm! i have the 12mm to 14mm covered with rc guy adapters. i think i will need to do some creative sanding and get the 19mm down to 17mm. it would be nice to only run one set of adapters instead of two! oh well, figures this is going down like this right before moab! i'll post pics after i get everything set-up. on the plus side, the moab xl's fit perfectly on the axial wheels. the beads sit nicely in the wheel, and didn't require any effort to seat them.

Lets see some pics with the moabs on them. Good luck on the search for an adapter to make them work. I'm looking to get some of these wheels but I'm hesitant to until the adapters are sorted out. I'm new to all of this and don't really know what kind of parts are out there from different kits that could be used.

wheels and tires look great

If you just wanted a larger screw, consider a button head screw, the head would be broader and show up better.
