That looks awesome. Please post some pics once the beadlock rings come in. A couple pics of them on your crawler would be nice also. Those really do look great.

RCP crawlers are getting special adapters made that go from 12mm(clod)to 17mm. shouldn't be long!

Maybe a dumb question, but will buggy hexes fit with no other adapter? Or 17mm adapters for the Savage? They are also for 8mm shafts.

I should have been more specific.... 1/8th scale buggy/truggy hexes is what I was thinking. They fit on a 8mm axle, and are 17mm hexes, no other adapter needed.... IF they fit. OFNA and some others use a 2.5mm cross pin, someone else (Kyosho?) uses a 2.6mm pin.... OFNA buggy hubs: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBZP1&P=7 Available in "hard annodized" gray as part #40526 (Jammin hubs) Or, KMW makes some custom 17mm hexes in varying offsets that might work. They come drilled for both 2.5 and 2.6 pins: http://www.kmwracing.com Last edited by swhenrik; 09-11-2006 at 08:07 PM. |

Rather then buying them... try to find someone with some laying around. I believe I have a set of Duratrax 17mm's that I'd sell for almost nothing ("you pay for shipping" type of deal). I'll try to remember to look tonight. Or check any people who live by you that have 1/8th scale buggies... And if they don't fit, you might be able to rope KMW or Dace into making custom ones for you. Anyone have a link to what the stock Clod axles look like... I do 1/8th scale, NOT colds, sorry. |

i bought the ofna adapters and they work great! if you have the thunder tech CVD's, you need to use the cross pin that comes with the CVD kit. the wheel hub will hold the pin in place. for those without the CVD's, RCP crawlers are working on a 12mm to 17mm adapter that will be available pretty soon. i'll post some pics of the ofna hubs, and the wheels mounted on my clod. |

.12 grams are the lightest I have found. This way you can get more bbs in the tire. | |
