Got mine in a few minutes ago and got one mounted.

Initial impressions, definitely g8 compound, and much bigger than the old 2.2

The foams are much stiffer and actually useable, and they reek of dead hobo

Mounted on 1.7wide duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude wheels

I did manage to get 2 done so far. I went with a 2.2 short dueces wild foams with a double dueces outer foam. Hoping it will give me support at high speed but still soft enough to crawl

Word on being a pain to mount, they seem much worse than the standard 2.2, hopefully I'll never take them off. Good looking rigs y'all

Picked mine up today, probably will have to find a new body for my Comp Crawler, these are probably going to grab the Helios body that is currently on that.

As for the smell, still not as bad as the ones that Axial sent with the original AX10 Scorpions

Here's a picture of the last time my new tars were new

I ran 1 4s pack today, in a very diverse range of terrain. My wraith was a belly dragger (links level) and these tires made an amazing difference in the break-over situations. They also hooked like a treble hook on rock, and walked right up loose hills with a healthy dose of 4s speed.

These are hands down the best tires I have ever used, and I feel bad for anybody that uses them straight away, because all other tires are going to suck by comparison.

Post run, no damage to tires and almost no wear.

Summary: The best tires I have ever used, bar none.
