Just got the voodoo klr 1.9 , was wondering if there directional. Would the dot be on the inside of rim or outside?

They are directional, take a look at the pic below and that's the correct way they should go. You can run them reversed though and they may clean mud out better.

I'm really excited by this tire, I witnessed a set comping a few weeks back and they are imo a must have. Now the question is when will it be available in 2.2 also?

My question is what would make me want to put 2.2 KLRs on my Wraith if I already have Blue U4s?

I'll probably buy them anyways though, because more tires after all.

I personally think the 2.2KLR are going to knock it out of the park! The 1.9 have been a solid tire that has been ripping it all over the country and around the world from local comps to big events the RECON G6 'The Fix". The 2.2 KLR will have nice open lug spacing that will eat up the dirt, mud and rocks. I have the U4 silvers on my Yeti but I can't wait for the 2.2KLR!!

I have mine "reversed" and I love them the bite and tear the trails and loose dirt.

The main design principles used in the Voodoo U4 lugs are in the racing vein. We did add the ability for the end user to cut, sipe, and shape the lugs into several different trail designs which has been wildly popular. The 2.2 KLR is designed to trail use, but our prototypes also work extremely well on the track, however, traction roll can be an issue.

So my question is, how will these perform in slightly tacky mud and snow? Will the tsl perform better?

Here's a quick vid I made of silver KLR's on the rocks.

Mmmmm, edit: seems my video was posted a few posts previously by crawl-o-matic, things get around

I've softened the foams since and they work even better

CI lil nova 4.5 soft front and rear, comp cut the front, then added lots of holes across all inners to soften them further but keep lateral stability.
Would have liked to try the Voodoo foams but not available here at the time. Wouldn't mind trying the gold compound either, but postage costs and the AUD/USD dollar conversion are a killer

Does anyone have any feedback on how the KLR's compare to the 1.9 Growlers? I currently have the Growlers and love the height but feel like I could use some more grip.
