Any typical ones,or is there one better than the other?

The best ones are...the ones that wish the best for you. I know that sounds kind of like a cliche, but, it's the truth. Some people find one works better for them than for other people.

I have these (not quite 90*) pliers... They're fine, but I haven't had much of a need for bent pliers. I've used them maybe 3 times ever.

I have a few different needle nose pliers, including $40 knipex ones, but these Xcelite's I use constantly. They seem to get into all the hard to reach places.

Return-be-told, I've also found very little (as in, almost none) need to 90° pliers.

I haven't had a need for bent needle nose pliers doing RC stuff yet, but a needle nose set I have used from my work tool bag is this set of Klein's.

If you would like a set that you don't need much torque from, I have taken a cheap but long bite length needle nose set and bent the end of it about 30 degrees. Out of my small needle nose pliers, those have been very handy in work and tedious car projects as well.
