This is just to let everyone know the progress of the roc-max chassis. First tester has let me know what he thought of it and things look great! The manual for the truck is complete. Any changes would be really small to refine the manual. Best guess would be 2 - 3 weeks before I will have them to sell. Bret Last edited by bret4; 10-16-2006 at 06:57 AM. |

Just another quick note. I am getting a lot of offers from people that would like a truck to test and review. At this time I have enough testers and people that want to review this product. Thank you, Bret |

The manual for the Roc-Max is now online. This should answer some of the questions about what is needed to put the truck together and what you get in the kit. Bret Last edited by bret4; 10-16-2006 at 06:57 AM. |

KFX700, They are no longer being made. You will need to look for a used one or use the CNC codes from that link I gave you to have one made. |

I believe they were priced at $250 and it's demise is questionable? I think it is a great design in the narrow version.

There are also other chassis out there. Like the torsion chassis. You have to build it from scratch so maybe you would like one of them. They are very stable and only cost no more than $10.00 to build if you already have the maxx axles and tranny. If you need help with it I can get you the materials that I used on mine. I have a build thread on it. I am fixing to redo it so that it has a 17" wheel base.

Hey John Deere... Could you send a link to your build thread? I scored some Maxx parts and I am looking to build another Maxx crawler (had to sell the first one). I have seen the Roc maxx around and have always liked it. Any help on where to find materials, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks Last edited by jmz6; 09-04-2007 at 09:17 PM. |

| Btw I do have 1:1 PDF files of the axle brace both narrow & wide, and batt holder. I also have the DWG files of these that I got off the link a while back. Being an Autocad user, I didn't download the CNC files, but I believe DWG/DXF files can be converted to CNC language. "What's our vector, Victor?" I don't know if I would be stepping on any toes by sharing these files since I am not the creator of the DWG files, I did however create the PDF's... Could someone (bret4?) advise? I know the files were offered a while back, but things can change......... PM me |

I guess since everyone is going to make their own, I wont try to sell mine! Good luck guys... I have never seen anyone build one since Bret was cranking them out. They are truly a beautiful thing. I changed my mind, everything has a price. This is now listed in the For Sale section. Last edited by themerc64; 09-17-2007 at 09:45 AM. Reason: new info |
