Tins completed today. Also made delrin skid plate, it's not a great fit, but what a pita it was to make. The tins are .025" aluminum, and the the delrin is .187".

Thanx guys. It should be ready by next weekend. I mocked the whole thing up today and did a little couch crawling with it to make sure everything was kosher. Just need to spray the Mel Gibson Hue!

Actually I'm still not sure about the colors yet. Dark blue panels and silver frame is what I am thinking.

Looking great!

What are the clips you used to clamp the panels to the rail? Cable clips?

Exactly right! You can get them at your local hardware store.

It looks like heat was used.... about halfway up the side you can see a faint line which appears to be from a flame.

I wish there was a trick I used a propane torch to heat the bend line on both sides. You have to over bend because as it cools it wants to go back to how it was. It is also tricky to heat it evenly and not get it too hot. I think a heat gun might work better, but I don't have one.

Rock Ready! The panel color is navy blue although it looks kinda purple in the pics.
Can't wait to get it back on the rocks.
