TRX 4 2spd trans looks like no lube in this video. Is this normal? I also noticed this in one of my WL toys 10428 twin hammers clone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40vgrIPQuEI |

when I pulled mine open recently all the fun bits had some stuff on them, looked more like the gel surrounding spam then grease though. I duly overpacked them all with marine grease because I didn't not like how the metal parts were water wet 2 days after trailing it... Also over packing the diffs allow them to diff without the nasty clashing sounds they do dry >.< Chris |

I needed to add grease to mine. NOTE: TRX 4 has its own section under scale. Last edited by fr8cture; 07-27-2017 at 10:58 PM. |

It is not nearly as hard to get to the transmission as it would seem, just follow Harley's video and you will have it out in no time. Only thing a bit off is that the spur cover should not be stuck to the motorplate as his was due to melting the pinion into cover.. it should come off easily...
