| TRX4 Blazer body mounting options
I have a mostly stock TRX4 Blazer and I would really like to not have to use body pins to mount the body. I have seen a few people recommend using magnets of various sizes and shapes but I haven't seen anything specific to the TRX4. Do any of you use magnets to mount your TRX4 bodies? |

Try a set of these. They mount directly on top of your existing mounts. Because these will raise the mount, you will have to cut your mounts a little to lower them. You can just tape the opposite magnet to your body. I can’t post pics here yet but if you send me a pm, I can send them to you. https://www.ebay.com/itm/4Pcs-Black-...wAAOSwY5ddAfch |

They are pretty strong, are good for crawlers and look great. It’s not like you’re racing, bashing and jumping like a short course truck. This guy here has a pretty good video. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...De3jYPuCOwdJ4E Last edited by 67CamaroSS; 05-10-2020 at 12:59 AM. |

My body does fly off if I have a rollover or something, but I do like how easy it is to swap battery packs. The magnets are pretty much self aligning.

The other benefit is you can use the body on multiple chassis without needing to make additional holes. I will trade the look and ability to easily swap over it falling off on a rollover.

Those don't work well. They are far too tall to allow the body to set low. I have also had problems with keeping them tight. The problem with magnets in general is that when you take a tumble the body will likely pop off. I have tried a number of different mounting options and I always go back to the clips.
