So I ended up swapping and flipping the bumper mounts. Made a huge difference in clearance also. But gave the rear section of the cage more room to come down. Also ditched the battery latch for velcro straps to allow the body to sit level. Removed some of the x bracing on the underside of the cage also. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...042c1681b.heic

I think the Slash body looks pretty good actually. Not the scale look most go for, but definitely functional, albeit a bit longer than most.

hmm. seeing the slash body on it makes me wonder how the trx-4 would look wrapped in a yeti cage setup. i just got done putting one on my slash the other day..

Do you have some detailed pictures of where you trimmed and how you mounted the body, specifically in the rear? I just got an F100 cab and honcho cage/bed, and it's a paint in the butt to get fitted correctly.

Also, what sliders are your running?

Axial JK Wrangler body with standard TRX4 wheelbase. Fits perfectly :) Just had to trim the inner fenders to fit the tapered profile of the Jeep body. The body is held to the chassis with rare earth ring magnets and Shoegoo.

Those that are running the Toyota Hilux body, are you shortening the wheelbase?

Did you have to cut holes in the bed to get it to sit that low.

Holes did need to be cut into the bed but the shock mounts didn't go higher than the tool box molded into the body. I screwed up my body position initially otherwise there would be minimal intrusion.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d52e1d8d00.jpg

Just replace the stock rod ends with these and it will shorten your wheel base to where you need it. (They are just a little shorter than the stock ones". If you wanted to go to 12.3 you would do the same on the front also. If you wanted to stretch the wheel base you would use the Jato rod ends.
I have my truck set up for 2/3 droop so when fully compressed they rub a little, but nothing that would hamper performance."thumbsup
Hope that helps you out.;-);-)

I tried this and found it to be not true. My trx4 started life as a tactical unit so I'm not sure if my rod ends are different for some crazy reason.

But although at first glance the revos appear to be shorter the dimensions from "bottomed out thread" to center of the ball is nearly identical.

^Second the notion. Figure I'll wait and see what 3D printed goodies the market comes out with. It's begging for a printed Grill and Headlight pods.
