Default Running Bronco with batteries in parallel

I have two 2s 2200mah batteries laying around for my mini e-revo. I'm mostly doing 1-2 hours trails with my bronco and would like to use the battery tray in the front for a bit better weight distribution. Should I pick up a parallel connector for my 2s? Or just get a new single battery for the front tray. I could just run one battery at the time, but I'd rather have some more capacity. Both the 2s fit at the same time in the front tray which is rather neat.

Maybe do a little testing to see if stacking the batteries negatively effects the center of gravity or balance, simply plug in the one battery and throw the other on top of it just to test it out weight wise. If you like the change then pick up the parallel connector for the extra capacity.

So long as you dont mind the new weight balance I dont see anything wrong with the extra capacity.

I have used my GForce 1300 batteries up front and had them stacked together. I use one until it needs changed and all I have to do is switch the battery lead and I'm good to go. I haven't used it much so I can say the difference between this setup and a larger battery (up front or the normal tray) but I like the way it drives this way.

How long running time do you get with a single 1300mah?

I use two 2200 2s in parallel on my Defender. I use a 3d printed battery tray and they sit lower in it using them in this way.
