I just ordered tra8080 which is the “narrow” fender. I’m not sure how well they seal but the sport body does fit without trimming.

They are too narrow. tra8080 with some light fitting is the way to go with the sport body. Here's a wheel well install video that shows how the tra8080's fit on the sport body.

My advice for you TRX4 owners, do an upgrade to the panhard mount, the stock plastic one is too flimsy, i used a STRC aluminum one in my TRX4 and trimmed the inner fender as well as i could to make it fit and not losing that fender

I agree on the panhard mount. I cut my wheel wells to fit around my Samix shock towers.

Do the samix shock towers allow you to run a taller shock? In other words, is the top hole taller than the hole in the stock shock tower?

Electronics all buttoned up. Now inner fenders, wheel/tire combo and paint scheme are on the agenda.

I’m not sure. I don’t think so. I don’t have the stock shock towers anymore. But I can say that these are well worth the money. They are solid and the Panhard mount is nearly indestructible. And the extra shock mount holes allow you to adjust the angle of the shocks.

On the rear, I was able to move the shock mount forward and lay the shock down to give a little bit more articulation.

I can’t remember which thread we were talking about the inner fenders not fully covering the sport wheel wells, but it came up in this thread so I’ll leave this here.

Stumbled across these “extensions” for the narrow fenders. Tra8081

I got mine all buttoned up. You're right about the inner fenders. They are too small, but good enough for me. I stay out of mud anyways

It's the Tamiya PS-54 Cobalt Green. I originally used Plasti Dip on the fenders. It came out good, but I forgot to cut the edges before starting to peel the plastic off. Part of it came off, so I took it off.

What color did you back it with?

Plastidip on the fenders is a good idea.

Thanks! Hopefully you upload some photos of it when it's outside in the natural sunlight.

Here's an outside shot. The sun isn't out yet this morning.

Thank you! Sometimes cloudiness helps because sunlight can overpower cameras. This shot looks good.

It looks excellent! I'm going to have to try this color in the future.

Looks nice...I like it.
Ordered the extended wheelbase links and a proline FJ body for mine.
My kit came yesterday...haven't opened it yet.
Sourcing some parts...got some deals.

Oh, and ordered a motor from HH - dropped one in my cart, checked out, and the confirmation came for 2 motors of something I've never even searched for. And they shipped them. Goddamit.
