Been adding some detail to it, nothing impressive Still need to do the tailgate and rear window but then it will be near enough done!! Really enjoyed this project and was totally worth nearly ruining the body hahah What I like the most, the body is still just as easy to take on and off, no interference what so ever

Thanks for looking

Nice progress and detail. After it's all done I'd reinforce the body and body to styrene bed with drywall mesh tape and E6000 to strengthen it all and give a slight flex to the areas where they all join together.

Thanks I'll definitely keep that trick in mind. I got it all mounted yesterday and it's solid what with the aluminium cross brace and all the over engineering on the dropbed, I don't see a need to rienforce it all..... yet

Got it mounted and painted yesterday in some spray on truck bed liner. Very happy with it Gonna try get the rear window done today and I also have some scale odds and ends coming tomorrow to put in it

Moved the body mounts, works a treat. I did want to do something a bit more inventive but you can't really go wrong with this set up

Two black m3 bolts to attach the rear. Again not very inventive but reliable and strong

Also what tires do you lot like the most or would like to see on it?!

Thanks for looking everyone

Funnily enough the 1.7 boggers were quite high on the list, but I think what I am gonna do is change the colours up on my OMF wheels to a polished beadlock ring and change the blue bit to a polished piece as well. Will go with the colour scheme of the truck then

I love all the work you've put I to the truck and looks like it's very capable. I can't for the life of me understand why you cut the fender openings square like that though. All that hard work and custom work with square cut fenders. Just wondering if there is a specific reason.

Thanks mate I know, thats the one thing I regret... I was initially going to make some steel sheet wheel arches, almost like a flat fender on a Jeep but I went off the idea. However now that I've discovered the wonders of styrene, I will most likely conjure something up to get rid of the fugly opening's. If all else fails I'll get a new body lol

Ok, sorry but I couldn't stand it anymore lol. Glad you don't like them either haha. Regular wheel openings just trimmed the least possible would just make that truck beautiful!

Styrene grill is looking good! I like red, but black was looking good too. Sad thing is paint doesn't always look like I imagined it would A large flat peice of lexan to test paint on is great to see what the color really looks like.

Thanks Natedog! I like the black too but I don't really want two of the same body in the same colour. Yeah with red, green, blues etc there are so many different shades it's hard to pick the right one and what it's going to look like. Not much to worry about when using black, grey, white and silvers

Ohh I like the sound of that!! So much so that I went to see what tamiya paint would come close to that and I stumbled across another colour...

How about champagne gold? I think it would suit the Chevy especially with black wheels and a black grille!!

Went to the coast today with the family, took the Chevy K30 of course. There was some carnage, popped the rear window out and got a bit of silty sand in the motor. The rear window was siliconed in but i have managed to source some Shoe Goo here in the UK which should work better. No major domage to the motor, cleaned and rebuilt it when I got back, running smoothly again

SSD diff cover doing work

Also made a new rear bumper and got it and the front one lacquered up. Execution on this one is much better and made a more effective skid plate.

My RPP Hobby order will be in on Tuesday so looking forward to that as always

Thanks for looking everyone
