I like that front bumper, is it home made?

Thinking I need something like that for my sons Bronco.

Your rig is looking good, they are fun/challenge to drive!

The black bumper is RC4WD. It originally mounted flatter and stuck out way to far, but with a little hacking it's up and out of the way. I'm not a big RC4WD fan but this bumper has been tested and so far it's pretty tough

nice build! I really need to get a bronco. I have been on the fence due to wheel base but it looks like a very capable rig!

I hated short wheel base crawlers till I was forced to drive one while in Oklahoma at last years RC4WD Scale Challenge. It was love at first squeeze of the trigger. I'm still learning it's characteristics, but it's got a lot of potential.

Maybe even a little more potential when I send you a Codyboy Steering set up. So you can get a little drive time with it. Tell me again how you want it set up.

I'll just want all the steering. No weighted hubs or anything fancy. Lots of people are against heavy tire/wheel setups, but Mine are working great for me and always have. I have a gentle finger In other words I never break anything

Sounds good Jon, SSD chub, SSD scale knuckle, axial uni, weighted front axle and no additional weight added. Over 65 degrees of steering.
Did you help mHoups figure out what he wants for a front axle set up, didn't hear back from him yet.

I Think this might be what you were thinking????

Here is what the set up looks on my jeep build.

I used the SSD SCXii chubs and knuckles for two reasons, 1. If you did want to use some added weight all you have to do is bolt them on.
2. You can clock the chubs to any angle you want!

I think I can see your rig smiling all the way from here!!!

I'm still trying to help him figure it out, but he's up to his eyes in another project and I think everything else is on hold.

Yes sir I got it It's almost a shame to put such a work of art in the rocks, but I am. I'm hoping to get some time to get it stuck under Stumpy before the weekend, but it might be the weekend before I git-r-done

Thank you, Ernie for the hookup and all the effort you put into this hobby! Guy's like you, Nate and many others here in the Ascender section are what makes this hobby what it is

Finally found the time to put Ernie's axle under Stumpy today and I cant wait to try it out! Just ran around the house a little, and was amazed at the tight turning radius! This short wheelbase coupled with the Codyboy axle is going to be a great sleeper rig Sorry for the kitchen counter pic's, but that's all yall are gittin fer now

Thanks again, Ernie You da man
