Good job Cary! Make sure you get it tucked into the body as far as you can so you so have a good approach angle.

I may have mentioned that I am a bit anal about certain things. The bumper was eating me up. I added some metal and ground the surfaces flat it looked much better. So here I added more to the lip. I will grind it again next chance I get. Probably have to add a little filler one more time.

I won't say it's the best I can do but it's close. There are still some small pits in the weld but I think it will get worse than that on the trail.

Nice job Cary, are you going to paint, if so, you could use some body filler to get rid of those. But like you said, it will get worse than that on the trail.

Good to see you on here again Cary!! nice choice of colors, they go good together. Bumpers are nice your skills are getting better with every project you do. So are you to the point that you and Rhett are ready for a package from Oregon? Keep up the good work!

If you get a minute check out the paint I did on an old Kaiser 715 in my build thread in the TRX4 section.

We are ready when you are Ernie. We had a weekend off from softball so I made good use of my time. I waterproofed the ESCs I got from Nate. Putting one in mine and one in Rhett's. I am going to switch to some 70mm shocks for the GCM rear truss. It sits to high for my taste. I also have to figure out something for the steering servo bumping under compression. I think Nate has a fix
somewhere in his massive post on his K-10. There is a ton of info in there just sorting thru it takes some time. Happy Indepence Day to all!

Well my buddy Ernie sold me a GCM transfer case and made me a mount to move the motor forward. All I had to do was make a mount for the t-case. I googled it to see if anyone else had done it. One of the results was the entire GCM kit from a person who bought it and never used it. Got a deal. So don't be mad at me Ernie

No problem, use it for Rhett, or pass it forward to your dad or someone you think could use it. You have another T-case don't you? Are you back from your trip?
