Finally picked up a shorty battery. Ran it for a good 2 hrs and voltage was still at 3.5. Anybody know what the voltage cutoff is set at from factory. Also I finally got my new motor installed that iv had sitting around for a couple months. Nothing wrong with the old one just thought I’d try it out. I Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

"Baby Big Bores" I picked up a set of TRX4 GTS shocks to try out on the Bronco while I rebuild the OEM shocks, not sure if they will stay on here or go to the new rig once I decide what rig to get. It's a toss up between the F-100 and the new Trail Honcho, but leaning heavier on the F-100. I removed the Traxxas balls and inserted some Vaterra balls and reused 2 of the upper Traxxas balls to space the tie rod down to stop the servo horn from hitting it. Now it only hits the panhard bar on top of the diff and has developed a very slight bumpsteer when cycling the full travel on the bench ? All 4 shocks have the "No Stripe .45" springs (the same rate as the TRX4 fronts) and will be starting off with 30wt oil. My Bronco's running weight is 7.2 pounds. These shocks are 90mm eye to eye and 67mm compressed. My modified OEM shocks (drilled piston holes with a #55 drill bit and limited them by 6mm with some nitro fuel line, bump stops and Samix brass spring cups) are 101mm eye to eye and 74mm compressed. Codyboy just put on a set on his and there are a lot of fellas in the SCX10.2 section that are having great results with them. As far as tuning them Traxxas offers several spring rates, and combined with different weights of oil it should be easy to dial them in. Standard spring rates no stripe .45 (Front) green stripe .54 (Rear) Optional spring rates yellow stripe .22 white stripe .30 orange stripe .39 blue stripe .61 I really like the stance this shocks give. Made up steering links and also panhard bar today as it's raining (again!!). I used 3mm stainless threaded rod, and 6mm stainless tube. For the steering the old drag link is long enough to use the original ends and fix to the top of the knuckle which should reduce side movement a bit. A couple of small washers to shim. Steers and move fine in the kitchen floor test drive. |

Those axles look awesome. I guess you have to test them first. but I may be interested in a set for my K10. More mud clearance lol.

I finally got my light kits in and got the lights going. While on the"Bay" i ordered a sound kit. It came in and I got it squared away as well. Its a plug and play so very easy to set up. I have one speaker behind the grill and the other on the roof (inside) of the cab. I have so much crap on this thing now, that its getting tough to find a spot for things. i will call this done and as soon as the weather clears up I will get a vid going. Quick pic of the lights.... |

Finally got some new swampers and pro line dual stage foams. Iv read so much on single foams, dual, soft, medium, hard, ci or pro line. Iv only used stock foams that came with whatever brand tires I was using. Is it really that much of an improvement? I guess I’ll find out this weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
